2011..Nuff Said

Dear Friends,

Kate and I returned from our Michigan vacation thanks to the kind transportation of my parents via Chevy Trailblazer and AirTran via a Boeing 717 aircraft. Our travel day was long and exhausting...so much so that I went to bed at 9pm (on New Year's Eve!)...but it saw us returned safe and sound to the beautiful state of Washington. Most of you probably know the usual shock which descends upon you when you get back to the normal routine of life after 2 weeks of vacation. I have already felt this shock, but at the same time it is good to be back. Kate and I have less than 6 months left in Washington with a lot of plans and hopes for our remaining time here. I personally have at least 100 places to visit before I go with Kate adding another 100 or so. We definitely won't even begin to tap the surface of all there is to do in the NorthWest by the time we leave here. Fortunately there are thousands of other people in Washington who can enjoy the state and God's beauty here for us.

Alright...so I haven't made any cheesy New Year's resolutions, but I have made it a point to read more books, pray more thoughtfully, and make the most of my time here in Washington before Kate and I head down to Georgia. Happy New Year's and I hope this year teaches you much. Bye!
